Walnut Anise Biscotti

 
Ingredients
Directions
  1. Soak Anise Seeds in Brandy (2 hours or overnight)
  2. Preheat oven to 350 Degrees F
  3. Beat Eggs, add sugar, butter, and Anise Seeds(Brandy Drained) and mix well
  4. Add Flour and baking powder. Mix
  5. Add vanilla, Anise extract and Walnuts. Mix
  6. Spread mixture on a baking sheet covered with parchment paper. Should be about 3/4 inches thick
  7. Bake at 350 degrees F for 30 minutes
  8. Remove from oven and let cool for 5 minutes
  9. Cut into 3/4 inch x 4 inch rectangles
  10. Place on side and bake for 10 minutes
  11. Flip to other side and bake for another 5-8 minutes till golden brown
  12. Cool and store in airtight container
